Information We Collect

We collect anonymous analytics data using Posthog, which includes but is not limited to:

• Clicks

• Referral sources

We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) or use cookies on our website, as we're using Posthog in cookie-less tracking mode, with disable_persistence: true and person_profiles: 'never' set.

How We Use the Information

The anonymous analytics data we collect is used solely for the purpose of improving our website's performance and user experience. This data helps us understand how users interact with our site and make necessary enhancements.

Data Security & Privacy

We take reasonable measures to protect the security of the data collected, and we do not share this data with third parties. For example we've set up Posthog for GDPR complience, and we're using Posthog Cloud EU: Posthog's hosting option in Frankfurt to keep Customer data in the EU.

Privacy Policy - Followergrow iOS app

This privacy policy applies to the Followergrow app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Makery Kft. (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Commercial service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as:

• Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
• The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
• The time spent on the Application
• The operating system you use on your mobile device

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.

For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your email address and X (Twitter) account handle. The information that the Service Provider requests will be retained by them and used as described in this privacy policy.

X (Twitter) Account Access and Credential Storage

To enable post scheduling, the Application requires you to connect your X (Twitter) account via OAuth. When you authorize this connection:

• Your X OAuth access token and secret are stored securely on our servers, encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption. These credentials are used solely to publish posts to X on your behalf at the times you schedule.
• Your OAuth tokens are also cached locally on your device in the iOS Keychain for use within the Application.
• You can revoke the Application's access to your X account at any time via your X account settings. Revoking access will prevent any pending scheduled posts from being published.

The Service Provider is not responsible for posts that fail to publish for any reason, including but not limited to X API errors, platform changes, revoked account access, account suspension, or expired subscriptions.

You are solely responsible for any content you schedule for publication. The Service Provider publishes content to X strictly as instructed by you and does not review, modify, or take responsibility for the content of your posts.

Scheduled Posts Data

When you create a scheduled post, the following data is stored on our servers (Google Firebase / Firestore) until the post is published or deleted by you:

• The text content of the post
• The date and time scheduled for publication
• The publication status (pending, published, or failed)

This data is associated with your account and is removed when you delete the post or delete your account. Posts that have already been published to X remain on X and are subject to X's own data and privacy policies. Deleting your Followergrow account does not remove content already published to X.

Third Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Database)
• X (Twitter)
• Bugsnag (Crash and performance monitoring)
• PostHog (In-app analytics)

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
• when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
• with their trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. You can delete your account and all associated data (including stored X credentials and scheduled posts) at any time directly from the Profile screen within the Application. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Posts that have already been published to X are not affected by account deletion and must be removed directly via your X account. Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider at [email protected] so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.

Security

The Service Provider is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. User data is stored in Google Firebase, which provides the underlying physical, electronic, and procedural security infrastructure. You can review Firebase's security practices at firebase.google.com/support/privacy. Your X OAuth credentials are additionally encrypted by us using AES-256-GCM before being stored, and are never shared with any party other than X (Twitter) for the sole purpose of publishing your scheduled posts.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-05-01.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
